Veterans Day Celebration
Celebrate and pay respects to those who’ve devoted themselves to serving our country. Head to Main Street South Boston at 11am this Saturday (Nov 10) for the Veterans Day Parade. Can’t make the parade? The events continue until 1pm and include food, veteran speakers, kids activities, live music, and more.
Downtown South Boston Christmas Open House
Time to admire all the lovely holiday lights and decor in Downtown South Boston! On November 18 from 1 to 5pm, get your holiday shopping started at local businesses Downtown while being serenaded by gentle Christmas tunes. Bonus: There will be Pictures with Santa running through 4pm.
Shop Small Saturday
On November 24, support local business throughout Halifax County and #ShopSmallWithUs. Every $20 spent at a participating local business get you entered to win a fabulous gift basket. Plus, you can also enjoy the Town of Halifax Farmers Market from 9am to 3pm and the Downtown South Boston Devine Decor & More from 10am to 3pm.
